On February 19, 2025, Congressman Landsman tweeted about a visit to a classroom in Southwest Ohio. Later that day, at 13:58 UTC, he expressed concerns over political influence by stating: “We’re witnessing a hostile takeover of our government by an unelected tech billionaire donor. Lives are being ruined and services undermined. It’s chaos.”

In another tweet posted at 15:39 UTC on the same day, Landsman highlighted actions taken by former President Trump regarding oversight officials: “Trump fired 17 Inspector Generals – people who are hired to fight waste, fraud, and abuse.”
