The congressman, who succeeded Steve Chabot in 2023, shared his thoughts on topics ranging from government spending to healthcare and antisemitic violence.
On May 21, Landsman criticized what he described as a “billion-dollar boondoggle” involving a plane intended for former President Trump. He expressed concerns about corruption and waste associated with the project. “The corruption of this shouldn’t overshadow the fact that it is a billion-dollar boondoggle.” He further elaborated that it would require significant time and resources to address these issues.
The following day, on May 22, Congressman Landsman addressed healthcare legislation that could potentially impact millions of Americans. In his post, he warned about the life-threatening consequences of reducing access to healthcare services: “When you take healthcare from millions of Americans, people will die.” He urged lawmakers to reconsider their stance on such policies.
Later that same day, Landsman commented on an attack targeting the Jewish community. Expressing solidarity with those affected by the incident, he stated: “This was a horrific, antisemitic, and deadly attack on our Jewish community.” His message conveyed sympathy for the victims and their families.
