Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of policy issues in a series of posts on July 18, 2025.

On his official X account, Landsman first highlighted an interview with Rahm Emanuel. In his post at 15:45 UTC, he wrote: “My interview with @RahmEmanuel https://t.co/wws2tyegTb”.

Later that day, at 17:55 UTC, Landsman discussed labor rights and recent administrative actions affecting federal workers. He stated: “1 million federal workers had their bargaining rights stripped away by this administration. I joined the discharge petition to get them back. Don’t mess with our workers. https://t.co/xnmVk1iKqq”.

In another post at 20:13 UTC, Landsman commented on the economic impact of tariffs and legislative efforts to address them. He wrote: “These reckless tariffs have made America even more expensive. And it’s going to get worse for families if Congress doesn’t act. Signed the discharge petition to take back Congress’s tariff power. https://t.co/dolIVNG8Ci”.

Landsman has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Steve Chabot as representative for Ohio’s 1st district. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, he continues to reside there and is an alumnus of Ohio University, where he earned his BA in 1999.
