Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st District since 2023, recently took to Twitter to express his concerns regarding the actions of the Trump Administration related to a deportation case. Landsman, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and a graduate of Ohio University, spoke out about issues of due process and judicial compliance.

In a tweet dated April 21, 2025, Landsman stated, “On March 15, Trump Administration officials sent Abrego Garcia to El Salvador’s maximum-security prison for his alleged ties to the MS-13 gang – without any evidence to support this claim, and without bringing his case before a judge. He’s a husband and a father who was in the”.

Following this, Landsman emphasized the right to due process for Abrego Garcia and others in the U.S., advocating for legal compliance. On the same date, he tweeted, “Abrego Garcia – along with every other person in the United States – is entitled to due process. I signed a letter to President Trump demanding that his Administration follow the law, bring him back to the U.S. in compliance with the Supreme Court’s ruling, and give him the”.

In another post on April 21, 2025, Congressman Landsman criticized the actions of the Trump Administration concerning judicial rulings and deportations. He wrote, “The Trump Administration is operating entirely outside of the law – openly defying judicial rulings, pursuing no process removals, and threatening to send U.S. citizens to a foreign prison.”
