Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared his perspectives on American progress and national leadership through a series of posts on social media.
On February 24, 2026, Landsman reflected on historical moments of crisis and subsequent progress in the United States. He wrote, “There are these moments in American history: crisis…then progress. Progress isn’t inevitable, yet it’s also right around the corner. Honored to speak at this year’s HRC Cincinnati Gala alongside Americans standing up to the chaos and cruelty–and for every member of the LGBTQ+ https://t.co/i7lJgJBWcV”.
Later that day, he commented on expectations for presidential addresses by posting, “What the State of the Union should look like https://t.co/Oa8cxiMDBs” on February 24, 2026.
Following President Biden’s State of the Union address, Landsman offered his critique on February 25, 2026. He stated, “On last night’s State of the Union It was mostly about him, not us. I think he said “Trump” more than he said “costs” or “public safety.” He picked fights with the audience, or his fellow Americans. I don’t like that. We so badly need focused and unifying leaders. But, it”.
Landsman has served as a U.S. Representative since 2023 after succeeding Steve Chabot. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and an alumnus of Ohio University (class of 1999), Landsman continues to reside in Cincinnati while representing his home district in Congress.
