Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently highlighted his legislative efforts and community engagement through a series of posts on social media.

On August 4, 2025, Landsman reported his participation in a neighborhood event: “Joined Knowlton Place in Northside for a community conversation. We had a great discussion about how the latest budget will impact SW Ohio and how we can work together to ensure our children receive a quality education.”

The following day, he announced the release of federal funding for public safety: “$4.1 million in public safety funding is now available to Hamilton County. We led a bipartisan effort with @Rep_Davidson to get these withheld FEMA investments released — now they’re being delivered.” This funding follows bipartisan advocacy for the disbursement of FEMA resources.

On August 6, 2025, Landsman addressed health care policy by referencing new legislation: “We’re co-sponsoring the Restoring Essential Health Care Act. It’s a bicameral bill that repeals the federal ban on Medicaid reimbursements to Planned Parenthood.”

Landsman began representing Ohio’s 1st district after replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. Landsman graduated from Ohio University with a BA in 1999.
