Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on August 8, 2025, regarding healthcare legislation and an application deadline.

On his social media account, Landsman announced: “Last day to apply! https://t.co/NY2vAd1hRw” (August 8, 2025). He later shared information about proposed legislation with another post: “Read more about the Protect Our Hospitals Act: https://t.co/hHqNymZpna” (August 8, 2025).

Addressing recent legislative developments in healthcare funding, Landsman stated: “Their massive spending bill takes $1T from healthcare and drastically cuts a key tool states use to fund patient care. Our bill restores that tool, the provider tax, so hospitals can keep their doors open and care for their patients. https://t.co/KW7INVOvFq” (August 8, 2025).

Greg Landsman has served as the U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 1st District since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and currently residing there, Landsman is an alumnus of Ohio University with a BA earned in 1999.
