Congressman Greg Landsman has recently addressed several issues through a series of tweets. Representing Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, Landsman succeeded Steve Chabot in the U.S. Congress. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1976, and a graduate of Ohio University, Landsman has been vocal about housing, economic, governmental, and social issues.
On March 31, 2025, Landsman voiced concerns about housing. He suggested that “Housing is already too expensive and it’s going to get worse.” He alleged that former President Donald Trump and businessman Elon Musk are attempting to close down HUD offices and lay off staff nationwide, including in Ohio. Landsman noted, “We joined members of the Ohio delegation to demand answers.”
Later that day, he expressed his perspective on economic and governmental challenges. He tweeted, “If a foreign adversary took over the country, they would: tank the economy burn the federal government to the ground upend our partnerships around the globe.” Landsman concluded, “That’s what’s happening right now.”
Additionally, Landsman focused on social issues by commemorating Trans Day of Visibility. At 6:20 PM, he posted, “Everyone deserves to belong, and to be safe and loved.” He reaffirmed commitment to fighting for rights and care, “We’ll always fight to protect your rights, dignity, and access to care.”
