Greg Landsman marks Labor Day and supports UAW picket line on social media

Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to share messages marking Labor Day and to express support for workers’ rights.

On September 1, 2025, Landsman posted a message recognizing American workers: “Happy Labor Day! To every worker who keeps our country running strong– thank you!  https://t.co/zWEuWtwJdp”.

The following day, September 2, he announced his participation in a labor demonstration alongside members of the United Auto Workers union: “Joined the picket line with @UAW. When workers in the Middle Class are doing well, America is doing well. https://t.co/EDpvdQiU06”.

Later that same day, Landsman issued another brief post calling for transparency: “Signed. Release the files. https://t.co/msFLO81w2s”.

Landsman has served as the representative for Ohio’s 1st District since 2023 after succeeding Steve Chabot. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, he continues to reside there and is an alumnus of Ohio University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
