Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2023, has recently shared a series of statements on social media outlining his legislative priorities and perspectives on national issues.
On August 28, 2025, Landsman promoted his legislative agenda with the message: “The Pledge to America is an alternative to this chaos. It’s a 10-bill plan to build an economy that works for the middle class, lower costs, and keep people safe.”
A day later, on August 29, he commented on policies affecting reproductive rights and gun manufacturer liability: “They decided to let anyone sue those providing reproductive freedom to women. In a country that won’t let anyone sue gun manufacturers, no matter how many of our children are gunned down.”
Later the same day, Landsman addressed education reform: “We haven’t had real education reform in 25 years. In my ‘Pledge to America,’ one of the bills lays out how we can improve education outcomes. Listen to some of it here.”
Landsman’s recent posts highlight his focus on middle-class economic stability, access to reproductive healthcare, gun policy discrepancies, and long-term educational improvement as central themes of his work in Congress.
Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and currently residing there, Landsman graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He succeeded Steve Chabot as representative for Ohio’s 1st district after winning election in 2022.
