Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, recently shared his views on several significant issues through a series of tweets. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1976 and a graduate of Ohio University, Landsman continues to engage with constituents on matters ranging from historical commemorations to pressing legislative debates.

On June 19, 2025, Landsman highlighted the significance of Juneteenth as “an essential reminder that the pursuit of freedom, liberation, and justice is ongoing and not to be taken for granted.” He emphasized the importance of commemorating this day “in honor of the last enslaved people in Confederate states who were freed – more than two years after the Emancipation” (source).

Two days later, on June 21, he voiced concerns over potential budget cuts affecting public services. He questioned the limits of these cuts by listing several areas: “Public land, Medicaid, food for folks, federal workforce, EPA, public education — where will they stop?!” He criticized these measures as being driven by a need “to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy” and concluded with a call to action: “Kill the bill” (source).

On June 22, Landsman addressed international security concerns regarding nuclear sites. He described them as “three heavily fortified nuclear sites,” expressing uncertainty about their implications for the regime’s nuclear ambitions but noted that it indicates a weakening regime. He concluded that this development is beneficial for those seeking peace (source).

Greg Landsman’s political career has been marked by his focus on both domestic and international issues. His recent comments reflect his ongoing commitment to addressing key challenges faced by his constituents and broader global concerns.
