On Saturday, Feb. 15, former Groveport Madison High School standout Jamell Mitchell Jr.’s current college team, the Benedict Tigers, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Miles Golden Bears.

The game took place at Tiger Field. This was their second matchup against the Golden Bears this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Tiger Field against LeMoyne-Owen Magicians.
