Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st District since 2023, has been vocal on social media regarding healthcare and sports. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1976, Landsman continues to address critical issues affecting his constituents through various platforms.

On May 13, 2025, Congressman Landsman highlighted concerns over healthcare policy changes. He stated that a “nonpartisan congressional analysis confirmed that 13.7 million will lose their healthcare,” asserting the factual nature of this claim by adding, “It’s not a lie. It’s a fact.” He emphasized the preventability of this outcome with the statement, “They don’t have to do this.”

Later that day, he further criticized the policy direction taken by some members of Congress. He questioned rhetorically who does not need health care while pointing out that millions stand to lose coverage due to financial priorities aimed at benefiting the wealthy. In his words from May 13th: “Millions will lose their coverage so congressional Republicans can pay for tax cuts for the super wealthy.” He described this situation as “categorically wrong.”

In another tweet posted on May 13th as well, Landsman expressed support for a renowned baseball figure. Referring to Pete Rose by his nicknames “The Hit King” and “Charlie Hustle,” he advocated for Rose’s inclusion in the Baseball Hall of Fame with the simple endorsement: “He belongs in the Hall of Fame.”

Greg Landsman’s contributions reflect his ongoing commitment to addressing significant issues within both political and cultural domains.
