BAPD & Junk King want you to “Dump your Ex’s Stuff” for a good cause

3

City of Blue Ash recently issued the following announcement.

The Blue Ash Police Department and Junk King have teamed up for a special Valentine’s Day event to benefit the New Life Furniture Bank and the American Heart Association.

Turn your broken heart into a good deed by “Dumping Your Ex’s Stuff” in the Junk King Dump Truck that will be parked at the Blue Ash Recreation Center from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on February 14.

Junk King is decorating its “Dump Truck” and empowering people to dump their ex-lover’s junk—from pictures to hoodies and more—into the truck for free. For each item dumped, Junk King will donate $1 to the American Heart Association up to $500 with a limit of two items per person. Any items that can be donated will go to the Blue Ash nonprofit New Life Furniture Bank, according to a news release from Junk King.

The event gives the Blue Ash Police Department the opportunity to engage with the community and support New Life Furniture Bank, a local non-profit that provides furniture for families in need.
