Blue Ash Police Officer helps with tornado clean up

3

Blue Ash Police Officer Jason Huff and the Hamilton County Police Association Drive Team assisted with tornado debris removal at Kentucky Lake.

Officer Huff was part of a team tasked with diving into the lake to locate and remove debris and other dangerous items.

Tornadoes swept through the area in December and caused extensive damage. Approximately 5 miles south of Kentucky Lake Dam is one of the most hard-hit areas.

Since mid-December, over 1.2 million pounds of tornado debris have been removed from the surface water and shorelines by crews, according to Living Lands and Waters.
