New Metro Bus Routes Will Service Blue Ash

Two new Metro bus routes will service Blue Ash starting on Sunday, December 4. Plus, an Uber-like MetroNow! service will roll out in the City late next year.

The new routes, 67 and 5, are a part of the Reinventing Metro plan.

Route 67 is an east-west route running from the Montgomery Road Meijer Park & Ride location to the Forest Park Park & Ride, generally along Kemper Road. The route will stop in Blue Ash near Reed Hartman Highway and Cornell Road with stops along Cornell Park Drive.

Route 5 is a north-south crosstown route running from the Oakley Transit Center to the Sharonville Kroger. The route travels Plainfield Road, Reed Hartman Highway, and Cornell Road in Blue Ash with major stops at Oakley Station Shopping Center, the Kenwood Towne Centre, UC Blue Ash, Summit Park, and Downtown Sharonville.

Both routes will operate seven days a week approximately every 30-35 minutes.

Coming in late 2023, MetroNow! will be an accessible, on-demand, and localized mobility service for all, similar to Uber or Lyft. Customers will be able to request a ride via phone or through an app. It will provide curb-to-curb service for pick-up and drop-off locations within a defined zone which includes Metro's network of more than 40 fixed bus routes.

The goal of MetroNow! is to provide connectivity and access to public transportation where Metro's fixed-route service is limited or not feasible due to population density or vehicle size limitations.
