Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed concerns about healthcare coverage and tax credits in a series of posts on social media.
On September 17, 2025, Landsman commented on an unspecified incident, stating, "Absolutely awful. Praying for everyone."
The following day, he highlighted the potential expiration of Affordable Care Act (ACA) tax credits at the end of the year. In his post dated September 18, 2025, Landsman wrote: "ACA tax credits are set to expire at the end of this year. Millions of Americans will see their premium costs skyrocket – and most families can’t afford it. What’s at stake"
In a subsequent message posted seconds later on September 18, he added: "This is in addition to the millions of people who are already losing their healthcare because of the Republicans’ mega-speaking bill signed into law earlier this year."
Landsman has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after succeeding Steve Chabot. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. Before his congressional service, he graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
