U.S. Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district and has served in Congress since 2023, posted a series of updates on his social media account highlighting recent community engagements and policy concerns.
On September 18, Landsman shared his involvement with local educational initiatives, stating, "Great meeting with local SW Ohio Head Start reps. Every child deserves the chance to succeed in school and in life, and Head Start helps to make this happen."
The following day, he addressed healthcare issues facing Americans. On September 19, Landsman wrote, "The prospect of hepatitis B or the measles coming back, the billions in cuts to cancer research, the $1T cuts to healthcare – we’re facing a horrible and deadly healthcare crisis in America. Congress has to reverse this, and protect healthcare premiums for millions of Americans".
Later that same day, he announced an upcoming collaboration aimed at government reform: "We’re teaming up with @StopBigMoney on September 24 at 10am for a virtual conversation on ending corruption and making politics work for everyone. Sign up: https://t.co/6vG9rGiZAt".
Landsman was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree. Before being elected to Congress—replacing Steve Chabot—he built a career focused on public service within Ohio.
