Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on September 19, 2025, addressing topics ranging from a constituent's release to worker appreciation and a potential federal government shutdown.

In his first post at 17:50 UTC, Landsman expressed relief regarding the return of a community member: "My team and I are very glad that Ayman has been released and is on his way home and back to our Cincinnati community. I had a really wonderful conversation with Ayman this morning, where we mostly talked about his faith and chaplaincy work, which he now has the opportunity to" (September 19, 2025).

Later that day at 19:05 UTC, Landsman publicly thanked American workers in another post: "Thank you to our workers, the folks that built this country and drive our economy " (September 19, 2025).

At 21:16 UTC on the same day, he warned constituents about an impending government funding deadline: "In two weeks, the federal government could shutdown. Here's what you need to know. " (September 19, 2025).

Landsman has served as the representative for Ohio’s 1st district since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. Landsman graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
