73 percent of applicants to the University of Cincinnati-Main Campus were admitted for fall 2018

At the University of Cincinnati-Main Campus, 88 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 51 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Cincinnati enrolled 37,886 students in fall 2018, including 26,762 in undergraduate and 11,124 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.9 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

81 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 17 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (74 percent) and Black or African American (7 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 23,296 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 31 percent enrolled.
