Graduates earn 38 degrees from Art Academy of Cincinnati

About 97.4 percent of the 38 degrees and certificates handed out by Art Academy of Cincinnati in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Cincinnati conferred 37 bachelor's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in illustration. Data shows the school gave out 12 bachelor's degrees in illustration, followed by 10 bachelor's degrees in general design and visual communications and 6 bachelor's degrees in photography.

The academy enrolled 201 students for 2017-18, including 192 in undergraduate programs and 9 in graduate programs.
