Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting his views on bipartisanship, opportunities for internships in his office, and a tribute to Nikki Giovanni.
On December 9, 2024, Congressman Landsman expressed his support for bipartisan efforts in Congress. He stated that "Bipartisanship is the only way this Congress has gotten things done." He emphasized its importance by saying it is the "only way forward to solve problems and bring home investments to SW Ohio."
Later that day, he announced open applications for spring 2025 internships in both his district and Washington D.C. offices. According to Landsman's tweet on December 9, "Our district and DC spring 2025 intern applications are open!" He invited interested individuals to work with various teams supporting constituents from Southwest Ohio.
On December 10, Congressman Landsman paid homage to Nikki Giovanni following her passing. He quoted her words: “There is always something to do. There are hungry people to feed, naked people to clothe, sick people to comfort and make well.” He acknowledged her legacy as one that will continue inspiring writers and activists.
