Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, recently shared a series of tweets addressing significant legislative initiatives and concerns. The tweets highlight his focus on veterans' healthcare and public retirees' benefits.

On December 12, 2024, Congressman Landsman announced the introduction of the NOPAIN for Veterans Act. He stated, "Today, we introduced the NOPAIN for Veterans Act to reform how VA offers and covers non-opioid pain management drugs." Emphasizing the importance of accessible pain management alternatives for veterans, he added that this initiative aims to prevent addiction and substance abuse.

In another tweet on the same day, Congressman Landsman tagged several organizations including @NALC_National, @FOPofOhio, @IAFFLocal48, @cincyteachers, and @IAFFofficial. The post can be viewed here.

Additionally, Congressman Landsman addressed issues concerning public retirees in a tweet posted on December 12. He asserted that "Congress has been stealing from public retirees—teachers, nurses, firefighters, police officers, & letter carriers." Citing Marie’s story as an example of this injustice, he highlighted the House's passage of the Social Security Fairness Act aimed at ensuring fairness and restoring earned benefits.
