Greg Landsman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, shared several statements via social media on February 3, 2025. The tweets addressed concerns about data security, bipartisan cooperation in Congress, and railway safety regulations.

On February 3, 2025, Congressman Greg Landsman expressed concern over data security issues in a tweet: "The data breach and Musk and his team having access to our data and every federal account puts everyone at risk - Republicans, Democrats, Independents."

In another post made shortly after on the same day, Landsman called for legislative action by Republicans in Congress. He stated: "Republicans in Congress will have reliable partners with us, but they have the power to bring legislation to the floor. It’s time for them to step up and assure the American people that our democracy is still intact; that our elected officials will protect the American people."

Later that day, he also addressed an anniversary of a significant event affecting railway safety. He tweeted: "It’s been two years since the East Palestine train derailment. We will again support the RAIL Act, a bipartisan bill to provide comprehensive 21st-century railway safety regulations. This bill should have passed last Congress. We owe it to the community of East Palestine."
