Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 4, 2025, regarding the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein and alleged efforts by the White House to prevent their disclosure.

In one tweet, Landsman stated: "Over the past 48 hours, the White House has been frantically trying to kill the release of the Epstein files" (September 4, 2025). He further commented on potential reasons for what he described as a cover-up: "One reality that could explain this potential cover up is that almost everything happened in two places– New York City and Palm Springs. Two places where Trump lived." (September 4, 2025).

Landsman also noted the involvement of victims in advocating for transparency: "Some of the victims were in DC yesterday. They want all the information released." (September 4, 2025).

Greg Landsman has served as a member of Congress since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and currently residing there, Landsman graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
