Greg Landsman, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, recently expressed his concerns over the current political climate in a series of tweets. The posts reflect his stance on governmental issues and fiscal policies.

On March 5, 2025, Landsman tweeted about an impending government shutdown, attributing it to the Republican-controlled Congress. He stated: "The Republican-controlled Congress is days away from shutting down the government. While we have always worked across the aisle to keep the government open, there has been zero interest from the majority to work together."

In another tweet posted on the same day, he urged for accountability from the Republican-majority Congress: "Now we need the Republican-majority to wake up, and hold this Administration accountable."

Further addressing economic issues, Landsman advocated for tax relief directed towards certain groups. On March 5, 2025, he tweeted: "Instead, 100% of tax relief should go to working people, the middle class, small businesses, and farmers. Paid for by requiring the uber-wealthy to pay all of their taxes. It’s that simple."
