Greg Landsman, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Ohio's 1st district, recently shared a series of tweets addressing concerns about missing databases and child tracking efforts by the State Department. His posts on March 21, 2025, highlight his actions and inquiries into this pressing issue.

In a tweet dated March 21, 2025, Congressman Landsman stated, "As a member of Congress, I can send letters to agencies, the president, or vice president to ask questions or push for action." He noted that while drafting such a letter, they discovered the database was missing and subsequently updated their inquiry to the State Department with the question: “where is the database?”

On the same day, another tweet from Landsman explained that "Our State Department had a contract with multiple groups to ensure we didn’t lose track of these children." He detailed that this database contained critical information including names, biometric data, and satellite tracking data intended for use in ceasefire negotiations.

Further emphasizing his concern for affected children’s welfare during negotiations, Landsman expressed in another post, "The most important thing is that we get every one of these children back home." He stressed vigilance over developments concerning these children as talks progress.
