Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, has been vocal on current economic and social issues through recent statements on social media. His comments critique the current economic strategies and highlight legislative efforts aimed at healthcare affordability.

In a statement posted on April 2, 2025, Congressman Landsman expressed his concern about the state of the economy, noting, "This is more chaos. No plan. No strategy. No investments in American manufacturing. No investment in American workers. Prices will go up and the economy will continue to falter. Pure chaos."

On April 3, 2025, he announced the reintroduction of legislative efforts regarding insulin costs. He stated, "Every family should be able to afford their child’s insulin. Today, we reintroduced the Making Insulin Affordable for All Children Act to cap insulin costs at $35/month for kids and young adults. No parent should have to choose between buying groceries and buying insulin."

Later the same day, Landsman addressed the economic challenges attributed to previous administrative decisions. He commented, "We have to focus on the results of Trump’s chaos Prices are going up Economy is tanking People may lose their healthcare and Social Security."
