Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district, recently shared his viewpoints through a series of tweets concerning national security and immigration policy. Landsman has been serving in Congress since 2023, replacing Steve Chabot, and resides in Cincinnati, Ohio.

On April 21, 2025, at 16:28 UTC, Landsman expressed his concerns about national security by calling for the removal of Hegseth from his position. He stated, "Total chaos."' adding, 'Hegseth is a national security risk. He's gotta go."

Later that day, Landsman tweeted at 19:19:48 UTC about concerns with the Trump Administration’s immigration policies. He stated, "The Trump Administration is actively pursuing a policy of no process removals that are not only illegal, but undermine our Constitution. Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s case is one example." Landsman further emphasized the broader implications of such cases, suggesting that similar situations could potentially affect anyone.

Expanding on this case, he detailed the circumstances of Kilmar Abrego Garcia in a tweet posted a second later on April 21, 2025. Landsman noted, "Abrego Garcia fled El Salvador in 2011 to escape gang violence. He filed for asylum on the grounds that his life would be in danger if he returned to El Salvador. Landsman, 46, has been vocal about national security and immigration issues, leveraging his congressional platform to bring attention to potentially detrimental policies. He holds a BA from Ohio University, obtained in 1999, and continues to reside in his hometown of Cincinnati.
