Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, shared several updates on social media on May 12, 2025. His posts addressed a range of topics from international concerns to domestic policy issues.

In his first post, Congressman Landsman announced the release of Edan after 584 days in captivity. He expressed hope for further positive developments in the region, stating: "We continue to pray for the safe return of all hostages, the end of this war, and the beginning of a new chapter that could lead to sustained peace and security for Israelis and Palestinians."

Later that day, at 17:37 UTC, Landsman turned his attention to healthcare policy. He criticized a plan he described as intending "to rip healthcare away from 14 million Americans to pay for tax cuts for the uber-wealthy." He contrasted this with his own stance: "Our plan: no healthcare cuts and the uber-wealthy pay all their taxes like the rest of us." He emphasized it as an "easy choice."

On the same day at 22:05 UTC, Landsman mentioned participating in a discussion with Adam Mockler about significant economic issues including a private jet bribe and trade war implications. He invited followers to learn more by sharing: "Joined @adammocklerr to discuss the private jet bribe, trade war, and what it all means for you."

Greg Landsman's career has been marked by his commitment to various political causes since taking office in Ohio's 1st District in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and educated at Ohio University where he graduated with a BA in 1999, he continues to reside in Cincinnati.
