On May 14, 2025, Congressman Landsman emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to safeguard healthcare access for millions of Americans. He stated, "We have to keep up the fight to protect healthcare for millions of Americans. We can’t let up."
The following day, on May 15, 2025, Landsman highlighted the TRUST in Congress Act aimed at curbing insider trading by Congressional members and their families. He explained that the Act would require them to either divest from individual stocks or place investments in arrangements where they have no knowledge or control over them. He noted in his post, "The TRUST in Congress Act is designed to limit opportunities for insider trading by requiring members of Congress and their families to: Divest from individual stocks Or, place investments in an arrangement where they have no knowledge or control over how."
In a subsequent tweet on the same day, Congressman Landsman expressed his personal commitment to these principles by already complying with the proposed bipartisan legislation before it becomes law. He remarked,"Members of Congress shouldn’t be trading stocks. That’s why became fully compliant with the bipartisan TRUST in Congress Act – before it even becomes law."
Landsman's background includes being born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1976 and graduating from Ohio University with a BA in 1999.
