In another tweet on the same day, he affirmed his commitment to reform by announcing his role as a cosponsor of the TRUST in Congress Act. "I’m a cosponsor and compliant with the TRUST in Congress Act because I’m determined to be part of the generation that fixes this broken system."
Further elaborating on his personal actions, Congressman Landsman disclosed that both he and his wife have divested from individual stocks. "My wife and I have sold all our individual stocks and reinvested in mutual funds and exchange-traded funds." He noted that their investment strategy is managed by a portfolio manager, ensuring they are not directly involved in trading individual stocks.
Greg Landsman has been serving Ohio's 1st District since 2023 after succeeding Steve Chabot. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, Landsman graduated from Ohio University with a BA in 1999.
