Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently addressed key issues related to education and maternal health through a series of posts on his social media account.
On September 9, 2025, Landsman highlighted the need for an updated approach to education policy, stating, "We haven’t had an education improvement plan in 25 years. We need a new plan. It’s part of our Pledge to America…".
In another post dated September 10, 2025, he turned attention to maternal health concerns: "Too many families face preventable pregnancy loss. Our bipartisan resolution makes a life-saving screening routine in prenatal care — one simple test that can save lives and protect mothers and babies. Thank you to artist Christina Perri for sharing her story and advocating". The same day, he tagged fellow representatives in a brief message: @RepKamlagerDove @RepKatCammack.
Landsman's recent statements come as he continues his legislative work after succeeding Steve Chabot in Congress in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and currently residing there, Landsman is an alumnus of Ohio University (class of 1999). He has represented Ohio's 1st District since entering Congress two years ago.
