Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, has recently posted several updates on his social media accounts regarding foreign policy, religious observance, and domestic economic issues.
On September 22, 2025, Landsman shared his position on international developments by posting "My statement on the Unilateral Recognition of a Palestinian State."
Later that day, he marked a significant Jewish holiday with a personal message: "Grateful to spend Rosh Hashanah with my family, deep in prayer, and reflecting on how we can bring more love, compassion, and grace to our community during these tough times.
May this year bring healing and hope to you all. L'Shanah Tovah." The post reflected both his faith and concern for community well-being during challenging periods.
The following morning, Landsman addressed economic concerns impacting Americans nationwide. He wrote: "Utility bills are going up, making the affordability crisis in America even worse.
One of the reasons: we’re all paying for these massive AI data centers. We’re digging into this and other drivers of higher costs. We have to solve this. Huge issue." The congressman's remarks come amid broader discussions about rising living expenses and new technologies’ impact on utility rates.
Landsman has served as the representative for Ohio's 1st District since 2023 after succeeding Steve Chabot. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. A graduate of Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree earned in 1999, Landsman's career has focused on public service within his home state.
