Greg Landsman, a U.S. Congressman representing Ohio's 1st district since 2023, has recently expressed concerns on social media regarding current political and economic issues. His comments highlight his perspective on the actions of prominent figures and their impact on the nation.

On March 5, 2025, Congressman Landsman criticized the actions of former President Donald Trump and entrepreneur Elon Musk in a tweet. He stated, "Trump and Musk, enabled by this Republican-controlled Congress, are indiscriminately firing federal workers and withholding hundreds of billions from our communities." He described this as an unprecedented move by a president to intentionally cause unemployment.

In another tweet on the same day, Landsman addressed international trade tensions initiated by Trump. He wrote that "Trump has started several trade wars - with Mexico, Canada, and China - and costs are going up on just about everything." According to him, these actions are contributing to inflation and negatively affecting market stability.

Additionally, Landsman commented on the state of American leadership in a separate post. He asserted that "Strong, American leadership has always meant that we stand with democracies, not with dictators." He characterized the current situation as weak and perilous.
