Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, recently took to social media to address various pressing issues. In a series of tweets, he highlighted concerns ranging from federal workers' rights to the appreciation of educators and rail safety.

On May 6, 2025, Congressman Landsman expressed solidarity with federal workers who were allegedly "indiscriminately fired by this administration." He stated, "We joined federal workers on the Capitol steps who were indiscriminately fired by this administration." He emphasized his commitment to supporting these workers in their efforts to urge Congress for intervention.

Later that day, in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Day, Landsman reflected on his personal connections to education as a former teacher and son of two teachers. He tweeted, "As a former teacher and son of two teachers, I've seen firsthand what our educators pour into our classrooms every day." He extended gratitude towards educators while advocating for better pay and support for public schools.

The following day, May 7, 2025, Landsman addressed rail safety after meeting with key unions such as @smartunionworks and the Brotherhood of Railway Signalmen. His tweet stated: "Rail safety is critical." The discussions focused on protecting retirements and investing in technology aimed at preventing disasters.

Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and an alumnus of Ohio University with a BA obtained in 1999, Congressman Greg Landsman's tenure has been marked by advocacy for labor rights and educational improvements.
