Congressman Greg Landsman, who has been serving Ohio's 1st district since 2023, recently shared his thoughts on social media regarding the unique contributions of Ayman Soliman, a Muslim chaplain at a children's hospital in the United States. In another tweet from the same day, Landsman noted that "Ayman Soliman was granted asylum in the United States and has spent years serving children and their families as the only Muslim chaplain at one of the best children’s hospitals in America."

Further expressing his concern about Soliman's situation, Congressman Landsman stated on July 10 that "Deporting him would not make us any safer, but it would be a huge loss for our community."
