Congressman Greg Landsman, currently representing Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on July 23, 2025, addressing concerns over government document transparency and immigration enforcement practices.

On his official account, Landsman questioned the motives behind the withholding of certain documents, writing: "Wait, do you guys think this is why they are withholding the documents?!" (July 23, 2025).

Later that day, he commented on the state of immigration policy in the country: "What's going on with immigration right now is pure chaos. What’s happening versus what should happen" (July 23, 2025).

In a subsequent tweet posted minutes later, Landsman described alleged enforcement actions taking place across the United States: "Whether they're criminals or not, citizens or not, they're just rounding up people all over the country.  They're wearing masks, throwing people into unmarked vans, and they're just disappearing people." (July 23, 2025).

Greg Landsman has served as a member of Congress since replacing Steve Chabot in Ohio's 1st District in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and currently residing there at age 46, Landsman holds a BA from Ohio University (1999).
