U.S. Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district, recently addressed several issues in a series of posts on his social media account. The tweets, published between July 22 and July 23, 2025, focused on senior citizens’ community service, Congressional actions regarding the Epstein files, and the impact of tax policies on families in Southwest Ohio.
On July 22, Landsman wrote: "Seniors mentoring children and serving their communities is not waste, fraud, and abuse. Don’t cut AmeriCorps. Don’t cut support for our seniors." He highlighted concerns over potential funding cuts to AmeriCorps and programs supporting senior citizens.
Later that day, Landsman commented on Congressional proceedings: "They literally shut down Congress to avoid even a vote to release the Epstein files…. At the heart of all of this…corruption " The post referenced alleged efforts within Congress to prevent a vote concerning the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
On July 23, Landsman addressed proposed tax policy changes: "Children and families in SW Ohio will go hungry — all to give tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans. It's reckless and cruel." The tweet criticized what he described as legislative priorities favoring wealthy Americans at the expense of vulnerable families.
Landsman has served as U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 1st district since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, he continues to reside there. He earned his BA from Ohio University in 1999.
