U.S. Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district, recently addressed border security and healthcare issues in a series of posts on his social media account.
On July 23, 2025, Landsman highlighted bipartisan efforts to address border concerns, stating, "Finally, the bipartisan Border Act gives more money for border patrol agents, judges, and asylum reform. We can pass that." In a follow-up post the same day, he criticized current actions related to immigration policy: "What they're doing right now is reckless, chaotic, and cruel. There are alternatives that include real border security and immigration reform. It would be smart, structured, and fair. That’s what I’m fighting for."
The next day, on July 24, 2025, Landsman turned his attention to healthcare and congressional proceedings. He wrote: "Congressional Republicans got a vote to take healthcare from 15 million Americans. But they shut down Congress for five weeks to avoid voting on the Epstein files. Everything they’re doing is to protect the wealthiest Americans."
Landsman has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Steve Chabot as representative of Ohio’s 1st district. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and currently residing there at age 46, he graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999.
