Congressman Greg Landsman, who represents Ohio’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on social media between September 7 and September 8, 2025. The posts addressed both local sports achievements and ongoing legislative efforts related to the release of information about Jeffrey Epstein.

On September 7, Landsman commented on a recent football game involving Cincinnati's NFL team, stating: "Gotta love that the @Bengals defense locked this one up with that pick. 1-0. "

The following morning, he highlighted several positive developments for Cincinnati-area sports teams: "Morning Cincy sports fans. @Bengals start season 1-0, @Reds take series from @Mets, remain in playoff hunt, @GoBearcats won, & @fccincinnati one of best MLS records with playoffs next month." This post referenced victories by the Bengals and Bearcats as well as strong performances by the Reds and FC Cincinnati.

Later on September 8, Landsman turned his attention to legislative matters concerning Jeffrey Epstein’s case files: "Members are back, and we only need THREE more signatures to force a vote on the Epstein files. No one is forgetting that Epstein did terrible, disgusting things. His victims were children. Redact their names, but give them the justice they deserve."

Landsman has represented Ohio’s 1st congressional district since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023. He was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and continues to reside there. He graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
