U.S. Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st district, posted a series of tweets on September 26, 2025, expressing concern over the cancellation of a meeting reportedly organized by former President Donald Trump and its potential impact on health care in America.

In his first tweet, Landsman stated, "Trump was about to put everyone in a room and then he canceled the meeting." (September 26, 2025).

He continued by outlining the consequences of this decision for both major political parties and the country as a whole: "That's terrible for Democrats, and terrible for Republicans. It's terrible for America. Everyone's going to pay more in health care, and some people are going to lose their health care altogether. That's bad." (September 26, 2025).

Landsman further addressed the effects on those receiving affordable care subsidies: "For people who lose their affordable care subsidy, it will go up significantly. And for millions, they'll lose their health insurance altogether." (September 26, 2025).

Greg Landsman has served as U.S. Representative for Ohio’s 1st District since defeating Steve Chabot in 2023. Born in Cincinnati in 1976 and currently residing there at age 46, Landsman is an alumnus of Ohio University.
