City of Harrison recently issued the following announcement.
Harrison City Council approved a resolution Jan. 18, 2022 in support of JTM Food Group's next expansion, which is estimated to be in the $60 million range.
The City Council resolution supports an Enterprise Zone (EZ) incentive agreement between the company and Hamilton County. That agreement would lead to an expansion of JTM’s newest building and the purchase of new machinery and equipment. The next expansion is projected to enable the company to add additional production lines and 22-25 associates.
Similar agreements were approved by Hamilton County in 2016 that led to the company’s $80 million expansion and the addition of 140 associates. By Ohio law, under the EZ agreement, the City would be required to share income tax revenue for new employees with the school district. JTM is Harrison’s largest employer with over 550 associates.
