Residents Receive Stabilized Rate for Natural Gas

The City of Harrison has worked closely with Energy Alliances to establish a cost-stabilizing program for natural gas. This program is known as aggregation. For the term October 2022 to October 2024, Energy Alliances has secured a price of $0.839 per cubic feet (ccf) supplied through AEP Energy.

Per Ohio law, all eligible households in the City are enrolled in the program. This includes households who opted out during the previous aggregation contract period.

Letters were recently mailed to eligible households with instructions for opting out of the program if they desire. A sample of that letter has been provided by AEP Energy. A website dedicated to Harrison's aggregation program provides more details, answers frequently asked questions and provides phone numbers to call for assistance.
