Cincinnati, OH – On July 17, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) announced he has secured the inclusion of nearly $14.5 million for 15 local projects in the federal government funding bills.

As part of the federal Community Project Funding process, Congressman Landsman has secured nearly $14.5 million for 15 local, community led projects in the appropriations bills that Congress passes annually to fund the federal government.

In April, after receiving more than 50 project applications from across Southwest Ohio, Congressman Landsman submitted 15 projects to the House Appropriations Committee for the committee to review. After concluding its review, the House Appropriations Committee approved all 15 of Congressman Landsman’s projects to be included in the appropriations bills. These bills must still pass the House and Senate and be signed into law by the president – typically by September 30 – before Community Project Funding is distributed.

“Southwest Ohio has incredible leadership and very compelling projects,” said Congressman Landsman. “We’ve been working closely with our partners to bring our tax dollars back home to support their work. From cleaner drinking water and safer streets to better housing and good-paying jobs – this $14.5 million will make life better for children and families across Southwest Ohio.”
