On April 21, 2025, Congressman Landsman emphasized the significance of due process in the context of legal proceedings, explicitly referencing a specific case. In his tweet, he stated, "Everyone is entitled to due process – regardless of who you are. It’s in our Constitution. No process removals are against the law, as the courts have said. He mentioned the case of Abrego Garcia as an example, warning of potential repetitions if changes are not enacted. "While Abrego Garcia’s case is one example, it will not be the last if nothing changes. If we let this happen, it will keep."

On the same day, Congressman Landsman highlighted the concerns pertaining to the reduction of resources for scientific research. Referring to a researcher in Cincinnati, he tweeted, “I’ve expanded my search to England and Germany…” He mentioned how reductions in NIH research grants raise fears among scientists for their future. He underscored the broader implications for hospitals, innovation, and talent if funding becomes unstable.
