Congressman Greg Landsman, who has represented Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, recently took to social media to express his views on various issues. His communications focused on community resilience, domestic manufacturing, and international peace efforts.
On April 28, 2025, Landsman tweeted about the fight for communities, workers, and democracy. He emphasized determination by stating, "This is what we’re fighting for — our communities, our workers, our democracy. We’re not backing down ".
The following day, April 29, 2025, he addressed economic strategy in the manufacturing sector. He announced the passing of legislation aimed at strengthening domestic manufacturing, particularly through securing semiconductor supply chains. As he stated, "The way to grow American manufacturing is to invest in American manufacturing. We just passed our first bill of this Congress to do just that." He went further to mention, "The Securing Semiconductor Supply Chains Act will bring more manufacturing back home."
Later that same day, Landsman turned his attention to international affairs, noting a recent trip to the Middle East and outlining a path to peace concerning Iran's nuclear program. He advocated for ending this program and dismantling its terror network to benefit multiple affected groups; as he remarked, "There is a path to peace, and ending Iran’s (non civil) nuclear program and its terror network would liberate so many."
Landsman, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1976, has also been an advocate for local and international progress since his transition into Congress, following Steve Chabot's term.
