Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, has taken to social media to comment on recent developments regarding U.S. global alliances and domestic policy issues. Landsman, a Cincinnati native born in 1976, has been active in Congress having succeeded Steve Chabot in 2023, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio University.

On April 30, 2025, Landsman addressed a bipartisan delegation's commitment to uphold crucial global alliances amidst what he terms as challenges from former President Donald Trump. He emphasized, "On this bipartisan delegation, we reaffirmed our commitment to global alliances that are essential to economic growth and national security. But, Trump’s chaos is definitely undermining us – and helping our adversaries, Russia and China, in particular."

In a subsequent tweet posted moments later, Landsman called on his congressional colleagues to unify in defense of these alliances. He implored them to take a stand akin to Britain's wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill, stating, "We need our colleagues in Congress to band together – serve as Churchill in this moment and stand with our allies against these global despots."

Later that day, Landsman shared a story highlighting the impact of recent policy changes on military personnel. He wrote, “Everyone who serves matters.” Cassie is a veteran and Air Force base engineer. She volunteered to help remove barriers for military women – until a “diversity” ban shut down the team. They weren’t pushing politics. They just want to make a difference." This underscores Landsman's support for veterans and his concern over recent diversity-related policy decisions affecting military service members.
