Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio’s 1st district since 2023, shared his perspectives on healthcare and tax policies through a series of tweets on May 14, 2025. Born in Cincinnati in 1976, Landsman has been vocal about the implications of proposed budget cuts by congressional Republicans.

In his first tweet at 13:36 UTC, Landsman tagged @EnergyCommerce without further comment.

Later that day, at 15:53 UTC, he expressed concern over potential healthcare cuts. He stated, "The only thing I know after 20 hours in @EnergyCommerce is that congressional Republicans are cutting $715 billion in Medicaid, $358 in ACA - and 14 million Americans will lose their healthcare. All to pay for tax cuts for the super wealthy."

Further elaborating on his stance at 17:33 UTC, Landsman criticized the necessity of such cuts. He remarked, "They don’t have to do this. They don’t have to cut healthcare for 14 million people - or food assistance for millions more. Just fix the tax code - and have the folks at the top pay all of their taxes the same way the rest of us do."

Landsman's educational background includes a BA from Ohio University, obtained in 1999.
