Congressman Greg Landsman, representing Ohio's 1st district, has recently shared his thoughts and updates on social media. He addressed several issues ranging from a natural disaster in Texas to community events and environmental concerns.
On July 5, 2025, Congressman Landsman expressed his condolences regarding a tragic event in Texas. "The flood in Texas and the missing children is heartbreaking." He conveyed his support by stating, "Praying for the children, families and rescue teams."
On July 7, 2025, he invited families to a community event aimed at preschool registration. "Register your children for preschool at our annual Preschool and Popsicles event!" The event will be held at the Evanston Rec Center with various community partners offering free resources. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy activities such as swimming and enjoying popsicles while preparing for the upcoming school year.
Later that day, Landsman commented on actions taken against EPA workers who opposed cuts to their agency. "139 EPA workers, in their personal time, told this administration they opposed cuts to the agency." He criticized these workers being placed on leave for expressing their views. He added that these individuals are dedicated to protecting public health and the environment.
Greg Landsman was born in Cincinnati in 1976 and graduated from Ohio University in 1999 with a BA. He has been serving in Congress since replacing Steve Chabot in 2023.
